The Marine Reconnaissance Foundation (MRF) is committed towards serving the Marine Reconnaissance Community and its veterans by providing active and continual assistance for active-duty operators, support for the wounded and family-support programs. The Foundation aims to provide both ad-hoc and long-term support for the Reconnaissance Marines and the U.S. Special Amphibious Reconnaissance Corpsmen deployed abroad, their spouses and their children settled in the United States in four key areas.
With the ongoing global war on terror, the U.S. Marines and Recon Operators have played a significant role in keeping America safe from imminent threats.
MRF recognizes the services, strategic capabilities and innumerable advanced military and combat tactics of the Marine Reconnaissance Units. Incorporated in 2013, the Foundation works towards the welfare and benefit of the serving members, retired members and family members of deceased combatants – being the first ever organization to assist the Marine Reconnaissance Community in the United States.
We envisage a veteran-citizen partnership that is geared towards providing unconditional assistance and continual support for the Marine Reconnaissance Community. We aim to provide financial, technical, educative and strategic support to all on-duty Marine Recon personnel and our veterans.
Our commitment to the Marines goes a long way and we pride ourselves in our ability to serve our finest, in any and every way that we can.
Despite the significance contributions made by the Marine Reconnaissance Community towards National Security, their services remain unrecognized by most. Many organizations, funds and corporations are providing assistance to other military personnel. We, however, honor the services of the brave men of the Marine Reconnaissance Community, as well as their immediate family members. Serving the best of our Nation to the best of our abilities has been our guiding philosophy and we strictly adhere to it.
The Foundation connects with the personnel and their families during their both their military tenure and after subsequent discharge from services. To help all personnel and their families, we offer (but are not limited to) the following services:
- Critical, immediate and ongoing support for the wounded personnel on-duty
- Financial support and veteran assistance for the families of the Recon Community
- Family services and command support
- Educational assistance to the children of the serving members and retirees
- Legal services and assistance for all Foundation members and their families
- Medical and psychological counseling and assistance for post-traumatic stress disorders
- Any other technical or financial assistance for veterans and their family
